The Central Florida Interagency Council (CFIC) works to support the development of transition for individuals with unique abilities in Central Florida by promoting successful outcomes for independent living, employment, and educational goals.

The purpose of the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities (FCSUA) is to provide support to students, families, and institutions of higher education so that students with intellectual disabilities have opportunities for on-campus college experiences that lead to employment opportunities.

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) supports persons with developmental disabilities in living, learning, and working in their communities, with goals of increasing both access to community-based services, treatment, and residential options and the number of individuals with developmental disabilities in the workforce.

The purpose of the Florida Division on Career Development and Transition (FDCDT) is to promote the career development of individuals with exceptionalities in order to bring about effective programs of career awareness, career exploration, career preparation, and transition from school to work and community living for these individuals from early childhood through adulthood.  Additionally FDCDT encourages and promotes professional growth, research, legislation, and dissemination of information among Florida individuals and organizations concerned with and involved in career development and transition of people with exceptionalities.

The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) serves children and adults of all levels of intellectual functioning who have autism spectrum disorders, dual sensory impairments, or sensory impairments with other disabling conditions.

The Florida Department of Education, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is the state agency that helps people with physical and mental disabilities prepare for, get, advance in or keep a job.

The Center for Independent Living (CIL) helps to provide resources and accessibility options for people with disabilities.  It does this by working with community partners that promote inclusion of people with disabilities by eliminating architectural, communication and attitudinal barriers.
