Principal’s Message

Dear Parents, Guardians, and ESE Transition School Community,    A woman smiles in front of a school entrance with a 'Welcome to Esteem Academy' banner.

With deep pride and heartfelt enthusiasm, I introduce myself as the Principal of our Transition School. I am honored to join a program that stands as a vital stepping stone for students working through personal, academic, and emotional transitions. This is more than a school- it’s a space where students rediscover their strengths, rebuild confidence, and prepare for a successful future.

At our ESE Transition School, we understand that students come to us with unique stories, diverse experiences, and real challenges. They need more than instruction- consistency, compassion, and a responsive environment tailored to their needs. We are committed to meeting them with empathy and guiding them toward meaningful progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

We believe that transformation happens through collaboration. Our dedicated team works closely with families, educators, and community business partners to surround each student with a support system that nurtures their growth. Together, we create a culture of care and high expectations- where each child feels safe, respected, and empowered to succeed.

Thank you for welcoming me into this important role. I look forward to partnering with you to provide our students the tools, encouragement, and hope they need to move forward with strength and confidence.

Warmly,

Wessal Kenaio

Principal, ESE Transition School
