Post High Program – Career Experiences
- This course helps students with disabilities prepare for future employment by developing career skills through hands-on experiences in school and community settings. Students explore career options, practice job application skills, and learn workplace behaviors such as punctuality, communication, and professionalism. They also gain knowledge of community resources, legal rights, and transportation options to support their transition into adulthood. Non-paid community-based vocational education (CBVE) is a key component of this course.
Transition U Program – Transition Planning
- This course empowers students with disabilities to build essential skills for successful transition into adulthood. Through self-advocacy, career planning, understanding legal rights, and developing workplace and independent living competencies, students gain the tools needed to pursue postsecondary education, employment, and active community involvement. The curriculum emphasizes personal goal setting, effective communication, and informed decision-making to support lifelong success.
