Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Staff,

This is Dr. Cannon Cameron, Assistant Principal for the ESE Transition School.  We have recently set up a giving page where you can contribute directly to the ESE Transition School for things such as helping students in need, defraying the costs of our bi-annual exit celebrations for students and parents, and tokens of appreciation to our staff during staff appreciation month and recognitions throughout the year.   For example,  we provided shirts, pants, and shoes to several students at the beginning of the year that just could not afford them.  And for our celebrations mid-year and end of the year, we invite the parents of the students who are exiting to a luncheon to celebrate our students' accomplishments.

As we are not a traditional school (which means our classrooms are at our partnering businesses), we do not have the traditional discretionary funding that comes with having athletic programs and a Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), and other ways to collect funds,  so we rely on the generous contributions of those who are able to support our efforts to provide for our students and recognize our staff.    One hundred percent of your donation goes directly to supporting the students and celebrating the staff and it's also tax deductible.   Every little bit helps.

Please check out our new giving page set up specifically for the ESE Transition School through the Foundation for OCPS .  You can go directly to the support page using the link below or go to the Foundation for OCPS site (https://foundationforocps.org/give/) and click on ways to give and program funds and you will find the Post High School Transition Fund.

Cannon
